Georgia Amoore scores 25, Mystics win against the Mercury
The second game of the night was between the Washington Mystics (23-15) and the Phoenix Mercury (13-25). The Mercury started hot thanks to ten straight points by Kahleah Cooper. Then the Mercury go up 15-2 at the 5:22 mark. The Mystics were not just going to sit down and give up; they go on a 16-0 run over the next four minutes to take an 18-15 lead and end the first quarter up 20-18.
Both teams start the second quarter well; the Mystics lead 28-27 at the 6:32 mark. The Mystics go on an 11-0 run over the next four minutes to grow their lead to 39-27. The Mercury end the quarter on a 10-1 run, only trailing 40-37 at halftime.
The Mercury take the lead in the third quarter and hold onto it to lead 57-53 at the end of the third. The fourth quarter comes, and the Mercury go up to 63-53 within two minutes. This game is the Georgia Amoore game. She assisted on or scored eight points to cut the lead to 63-61. Georgia scored ten of the last 19 points for the Mystics, as they won 80-73.

The Mystics were led by Georgia Amoore, who scored 25 points (career-high) and had four assists. Kiki Iriafen, of course, showed up with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
