The first game of the day was between the Indiana Fever and the New York Liberty. Both teams have a ton of star power, and those stars showed up in this one. The Fever had this game won after the first quarter; they led by 6 at the end of the first, and then the lead was 18 at halftime. The Fever ended up winning 106-92.

The combination of Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark. and Aliyah Boston continues to hurt opponents. Mitchell had 28 points, Clark had 22 points and 10 assists, and Boston had 19 points and seven rebounds—just another good day at the office for the Fever. Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart each had 19 points.

The first of the two-night games was between the Las Vegas Aces and Washington Mystics. This was similar to the first game; the stars showed up. This game was close all the way to the end until the Aces managed to pull away and win 86-76.

A'ja Wilson delivered big time with 26 points and 13 rebounds, with Jackie Young giving 25 points and eight assists. Those two had to deliver tonight, and they definitely bounced back from the 40-point loss to the New York Liberty on Sunday. On the Mystics' side, Shakira Austin (20 points and eight rebounds) and Sonia Citron (19 points and seven rebounds) did their parts tonight, just was not enough.
