The Wings shot lights out, winning their fourth game in a row, this time against the Sun
The final game of the night was between the Connecticut Sun and the Dallas Wings. The first quarter started back and forth; the Wings led 12-11 at the 5:21 mark. However, that did not last much longer; the Wings closed the quarter on a 20-7 run to take a 32-18 lead into the second quarter.
The second quarter saw the Sun cut the lead to single digits multiple times, but the Wings always responded and pushed the lead to double digits almost instantly. The Wings took a 60-47 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The third quarter began with an 8-3 run for the Wings. The Wings outscored the Sun 23-12 in the third quarter. The Wings led 83-59 at the end of the third quarter. The game was over by the time the fourth quarter began. The Wings outscored the Sun 14-12 in the fourth quarter to win 97-71.
Arike Ogunbowale led scoring with 18 points. Jessica Shepard had her 22nd double-double of the season with 17 points and ten rebounds. Paige Bueckers also had 15 points and six assists. The Wings will host the Los Angeles Sparks after the break on September 17th.
Aaliyah Edwards scored the most points, with 26 points and six rebounds. Charlisse Leger-Walker also added 17 points and five assists. The Sun will play at the Atlanta Dream after the break on September 17th.
