Allisha Gray, Jordin Canada, and Angel Reese get double-doubles as the Dream beat the Lynx

The first of the four games of the day was between the Minnesota Lynx (31-8) and the Atlanta Dream (25-13). By 5:53, the Dream led 16-7. The Lynx outscored the Dream for the rest of the quarter 14-10, but trailed 26-21 at the end of the first quarter.


The second quarter was the same as the end of the first, with the Dream leading by around seven for a decent chunk of the quarter. The only time the lead was above double digits was once in the final minute and at halftime, with a Dream 52- 41 lead.


The third quarter saw the Dream grow the lead to 69-49 at the 4:08 mark. The Lynx started to come back as they went on a 13-2 run and managed to cut the lead to 71-62 at the end of the third quarter.

Within the first two minutes of the fourth quarter, the lead was down to 73-66. Back-to-back threes from Rhyne Howard put the lead back to double digits. From that point on, the scoring went back and forth, and the Dream won 89-81.


Allisha Gray led scoring with 23 points and had 11 rebounds. Jordin Canada added 16 points and ten assists, and Rhyne Howard gave 16 points on the night. Angel Reese had her 15-point, 11-rebound double-double that broke a WNBA record for her 29th of the season. The Dream is done until September 17th, when they host the Connecticut Sun.


Olivia Miles had 21 points and five rebounds. Napheesa Collier had 17 points and seven rebounds, while Kayla McBride added 17 points. The Lynx host the New York Liberty on September 18th.
