Angel Reese and A’ja Wilson named WNBA Week 13 Players of the Week
The WNBA announced that Angel Reese is the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Reese averaged 24 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. This is her first Player of the Week honor of the season. This comes after a night when she had 26 rebounds, which she single-game rebounding record and a new single-season record in rebounds at 458 currently.
A’ja Wilson is the Western Conference Player of the Week- basically every week at this point, she’s that good. Wilson averaged 24.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. This time it comes off a week of solid games, including a 27-point, seven-rebound, and seven-assist game in the Aces' win against the Tempo on Sunday.
