Las Vegas Aces win with ease, A’ja Wilson has another huge night
The first of the 10 pm EST games was between the Toronto Tempo (11-27) and the Las Vegas Aces (26-13). A very back-and-forth start in this one over the first five minutes. The Aces started to create some momentum after that, going up by 7 at one point and then ten points at the end of the quarter (27-17).
Out of the break, the Aces continued that momentum they gained at the end of the first quarter to take a 35-22 lead at the 6:57 mark. The lead just kept on growing and growing. The Aces led 54-36 with 54.6 seconds left and 56-39 at halftime.
The third quarter was nothing but the same. The Aces started the quarter by growing their lead to 20. The Tempo managed to cut the lead to 62-49. But it was never lower than that. By the end of the quarter, the Aces led 74-55. The fourth quarter was the most competitive, but everyone knew the game was over. The Aces outscored the Tempo 19-18, the closest quarter. The lead stayed above 20 for almost the whole quarter. The Aces won 93-73.

A’ja Wilson had another great day with 27 points and eight rebounds. Jackie Young also starred with 23 points and eight assists. Chelsea Gray also had 11 points, four assists, and three rebounds. Next up for the Aces is a road game against the Seattle Storm on September 17th.
Isabelle Harrison led scoring for the Tempo with 15 points and seven rebounds. Laura Juskaite had 14 points and eight rebounds. Three others scored in double digits. Next up for the Tempo is a road game against the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday night
