Updated: Aug 11
The early-day game between the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces was not a competition. The New York Liberty won their seventh out of eight games with a 111-71 win against the Aces. Marine Johannes led the way with 27 points. Five others scored in double digits for the Liberty.

The next game up was between the Washington Mystics and Phoenix Mercury, and once again this was a big win for the Mystics as they beat the Mercury 95-75. Shakira Austin (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Sonia Citron (19 points, 6 assists) led the way for the Mystics as they won their seventh game in a row.

The next game is between the Minnesota Lynx and the Dallas Wings. The game was competitive all the way to the end, but the Lynx won 103-90. The standout performance was from Kayla McBride. McBride hit 10 3-pointers, a WNBA record, and had a career-high of 43 points in the win. Not to bring up the 20-point, 13-assist game from Olivia Miles, but the night belonged to Kayla McBride.

The final game of the day was between the Golden State Valkyries and the Los Angeles Sparks. This ended up being the closest game of the day as the Valkyries won 84-78. Cecilia Zandalasini had 15 points (5-of-5 from three and seven rebounds), and Tiffany Hayes (14 points and three rebounds) led the way for the Valkyries as they won their 13th out of their last 15.

Two games tonight: Toronto Tempo play at the Atlanta Dream (8 pm EST) and Chicago Sky play at the Seattle Storm (10 pm EST).
